Our Programs
Explore the hands-on outdoor programs we offer to inspire, educate, and empower youth across New Mexico.
At NMHYFF, we connect youth with the outdoors through hands-on experiences in hunting, fishing, and camping. Each program is guided by mentors who teach safety, respect for nature, and essential life skills that build confidence and leadership. Our goal is simple — to inspire the next generation to appreciate and protect New Mexico’s wild places.
Our Programs
At NMHYFF, we believe the outdoors is the best classroom. Our programs give youth the opportunity to learn, explore, and grow through hunting, fishing, camping, and hands-on outdoor education. Guided by experienced mentors, every activity teaches safety, responsibility, and respect for nature — helping New Mexico’s youth develop confidence and lifelong skills that reach far beyond the field.
1
Hunting Education
Participants learn ethical hunting practices, wildlife conservation, and firearm safety while building confidence and discipline under the guidance of experienced mentors.

2
Fishing Adventures
Our fishing program helps mentees develop patience and environmental awareness while learning proper techniques and conservation skills.

3
Outdoor Skills & Camping
Through immersive camping trips, mentees develop teamwork, survival skills, and a deeper connection to nature in a supportive and educational environment.

4
Conservation & Community Projects
Every participant learns what it means to give back — from habitat restoration and cleanup projects to wildlife stewardship, these activities teach the importance of protecting the land we all share.

You don’t have to be an expert to make a lasting impact. Whether you're a passionate outdoorsman, a community advocate, or someone who believes in guiding the next generation, there’s a place for you at NMHYFF. Join us in creating powerful, life-changing experiences for youth across New Mexico.
