About NMHYFF

New Mexico Hunter's Youth First Foundation

Empowering underserved youth in New Mexico by offering opportunities to connect with the outdoors and its natural resources while instilling essential life skills.

Our Programs

Explore the hands-on outdoor programs we offer to inspire, educate, and empower youth across New Mexico.

At NMHYFF, we connect youth with the outdoors through hands-on experiences in hunting, fishing, and camping. Each program is guided by mentors who teach safety, respect for nature, and essential life skills that build confidence and leadership. Our goal is simple — to inspire the next generation to appreciate and protect New Mexico’s wild places.

Our Programs

At NMHYFF, we believe the outdoors is the best classroom. Our programs give youth the opportunity to learn, explore, and grow through hunting, fishing, camping, and hands-on outdoor education. Guided by experienced mentors, every activity teaches safety, responsibility, and respect for nature — helping New Mexico’s youth develop confidence and lifelong skills that reach far beyond the field.
